Kianoosh Sanjari Continues His Battle On Behalf of Iranian Students

On Monday, January 14, 2008, Iranians demonstrated in front of the Norwegian parliament in Oslo to protest the Iranian regime's inhumane treatment of student dissidents. The demonstration was coordinated by Kianoosh Sanjari and Amnesty International. They protested against the torture of Iranian students who have been imprisoned and are awaiting their death sentences for voicing their objections to systematic oppression and violation of their most basic human and civil rights. During this demonstration there were several speeches from Kianoosh Sanjari, a leading human and student rights activist, the representative of Amnesty International, Mahmood Amir Moghaddam (human rights prize winner in Norway) and Jila Hassanpour (Adnan Hassanpour's sister, a journalist who currently is imprisoned and awaits his death sentence in Iran).
